Car Parking

Travel by Trains and Rail Travel


Parkway and Temple Meads are the two major train stations in Bristol. Temple Meads is nearer the university. Visitors who arrive at the Temple Meads train station can take the free shuttle bus offered by the university. Visitors can also take the 8/8A or 9/9A bus services to go to any of the major university structures such as the Senate House, Students' Union, Merchant Ventures, Wills Memorial, and Berkeley Square.

Travel by Buses and Coach Travel


Visitors can take several buses from the two major train stations to get to the heart of Bristol. The 8/8A and 9/9A buses usually travel through Redland or Clifton before reaching the university precinct. Faculty members can take the free shuttle bus from Bristol to the university proper. Visitors who are already in the city can take a bus at the Marlborough station that goes directly to the university.

Travel by Taxis


Visitors coming from the Temple Meads train station can take a 30-minute taxi ride to the university. Those coming from the Parkway station are also advised to take the taxi because the university proper is still 10 km / 6 miles away.
